Sandbrook Primary School

RE

At Chapelhill Primary, we want every child to be curious, respectful, and insightful about the world’s religions and non-religious worldviews. Our curriculum follows the Wirral Agreed Syllabus and is supported by the Kapow Primary scheme. We aim to equip children with the knowledge and understanding to engage in meaningful dialogue, ask "big questions," and reflect on their own beliefs and values.

We teach RE through a two-year rolling programme to ensure full coverage of the local syllabus. Lessons are inquiry-led and carefully sequenced, allowing children to explore sacred texts, places of worship, and diverse traditions across the globe. Through high-quality resources and Kapow’s built-in adaptations, we ensure every child can engage with complex concepts at an appropriate level. We aim for our pupils to leave Chapelhill Primary with the ability to express their ideas with clarity and respect for others, fostering harmony in a diverse society.
